|
2. Shop for wedding party attire. |

3. Determine groom's attire. |

4. Book transportation for the wedding day. |

Six Months Ahead |
|
1. Assemble guest list and organize addresses. |
|
2. Plan a bridesmaids lunch. |
|
3. Register for gifts. |
|
*This is a fun time to get with friends and/or family. Make it a fun day. Have lunch and finish your gift registry or pick out party favors. Pick some stores that are nationwide. |

Five Months Ahead |

1. Plan and book honeymoon. |

2. Obtain a passport if you need one. |
|
*Check-in with travel websites or call your travel agent to assure a safe and enjoyable honeymoon. |

Four Months Ahead |
|
1. Reserve accommodations for out-of-town guests. |
|
2. Organize transportation. |
|
3. Shop for a going-away outfit. |
|

Three Months Ahead |
|
1. Select bridal jewelry. |
|
2. Get invitations ready to mail |
|
3. Pick the music that you would like to have. Make sure that your D.J. has the songs you would like. |

Two Months Ahead |
|
1. Plan the rehearsal dinner. |
|
2. Finalize the ceremony. |
|
3. Choose gifts for participants. |
|
4. Make seating arrangements and obtain place cards. |
|
5. Create a wedding day timetable and distribute task card to wedding party. |
|

|
One Months Ahead |
|
1. Pick up your gown and make final alterations. |
|
2. Confirm dates and details with service personnel. |
|
3. Contact newspaper. |
|
4. Wedding day itinerary. |
|
5. Mail invitations at the end of the month. |
|
6. Get your marriage license. |
|
*Congratulations you've made it this far. Now it's just a matter of finalizing all of the projects you've got going. |

Three Weeks In Advance |
|
1. final arrangements for Groom's & groomsmen attire. |
|
2. Review honeymoon plans and organize packing. |
|
3. Have a final fitting for the wedding gown with your shoes on. |
|
4. Attendants have been pick up and that they all fit. |
|
5. Arrange the bachelor and bachelorette parties. |
|
6. Visit your hairstylist with your headpiece to plan the final look for your wedding day. |
|
|
|
Two Weeks In Advance |
|
1. Pick up your gown if you have not. |
|
2. Compile your final guest list. |
|
3. Notify caterer of guest count, menu details and seating arrangements. |
|
4. Confirm the duties, time and function of all booked services. D.J., transportation, clergy, church or hall, photographer, videographer, florist and rentals. |
|
|
|
One Weeks In Advance |
|
1. Prepare a travel itinerary and deliver it to appropriate people. |
|
2. Prepare final wedding itinerary for wedding party members. |
|
3. Write checks for final balance. |
|
4. Write checks and put then in separate envelopes for the offciant, organist, and any others you may have. |
|
5. Call the bakery and confirm cake delivery to reception hall. |
|
6. Make a list of what photos you would like to have. |
|
*Most photographers will have a list but be sure to let them know what shots you want. |
|
|
|
The Day Before |
|
1. Pick up the rental tuxedos. |
|
2. Pick up rental car if getting one. |
|
3. Greet out of town guests. If you have time. |
|
4. Assemble the bride's emergency kit (needle and thread, safety pins, aspirin, pantyhose, tissues, and so forth). |
|
5. Attend rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. |
|
6. Give out your wedding party gifts. |
|
7. Give the best man the money in envelopes to deliver to the officiant, etc. |
|
8. Get everything ready to take to the church this will help you not to forget anything (dress, shoes, rings, marriage license, undergarments, makeup, etc.) |
|
|
|
On the day of the wedding |
|
1. Eat breakfast. You will need it. |
|
2. Have your hair styled and get your makeup done. |
|
3, Meet up with your bridesmaids. |
|
4. Get dressed. |
|
5. Enjoy what will be one of the best days of your life. |
